Vineyard School

Introduction

Nanuri’s education work began with the founding of 2&5 Christian Academy in 2011, built from the ground up in Kanombe, Rwanda. Starting with a small nursery class and growing alongside the children each year, the school expanded to Primary 6 and quickly earned a reputation for strong academics. Guided by an education model that nurtures character, integrity, and a genuine interest in learning, 2&5 achieved one of the top average scores in the national Primary Leaving Examination (PLE) in 2019.

Building on this foundation and responding to the community's growing needs, Nanuri began stewarding Vineyard School in 2025, an institution founded with the support of Vineyard Church and Rooted Oak International. Today, Nanuri’s education programme serves more than 400 students across nursery and primary levels. Our focus remains on providing education grounded in Christian values that builds character, cultivates curiosity, and lays a strong foundation for future opportunities. We believe that a strong academic beginning in early childhood is essential for a child’s long-term growth and success.

나누리의 교육 사역은 2011년 르완다 카논베 지역에 2&5 크리스천 아카데미를 처음 설립하면서 시작되었습니다. 작은 유치반으로 출발해 아이들과 함께 해마다 한 학년씩 성장해 간 학교는 초등 6학년까지 확대되었고, 곧 강한 학업 성취로 좋은 평가를 얻었습니다. 성품과 진정한 학습 흥미를 길러 주는 교육 모델을 기반으로, 2&5는 2019년 국가 초등 졸업 시험(PLE)에서 전국 최고 수준의 평균 성적을 거두었습니다.

이 기반 위에 지역사회의 더 큰 필요에 응답하고자, 나누리는 2025년부터 Vineyard Church와 Rooted Oak International의 지원으로 설립된 포도밭이라는 뜻의 빈야드 학교를 맡기 시작했습니다. 현재 나누리의 교육 프로그램은 유치원과 초등 과정을 포함해 400명 이상의 학생들을 섬기고 있습니다. 우리는 기독교적 가치에 뿌리를 둔 교육을 통해 성품을 세우고, 배움에 대한 호기심을 키우며, 미래의 기회를 여는 탄탄한 기초를 마련하는 데 초점을 두고 있습니다. 어린 시절의 탄탄한 학업 기반이 아이의 장기적인 성장과 성공을 결정짓는 중요한 출발점이라고 믿습니다.
